Correct basic cleaning steps for industrial chillers

Industrial chillers are widely used in various industries. During long-term operation and use, we should maintain and maintain them so that they can play their own roles and effects. For example, when the condenser is running for a long time, thick dirt will form on the surface of the condenser, which will affect the normal operation of the unit. Therefore, in order to improve the working efficiency of the unit, we should effectively clean the unit.

1. Remove components

Before cleaning the chiller, we must first dismantle the chiller, because there are many parts in the chiller that are not easy to see and clean, and they intersect with each other and the pipelines are complicated. There are also many components that are difficult to remove. (Removal of components: condenser, evaporator, unit controller, cooling water inlet and outlet pipes, high/low voltage relay, control box)

2. Connect the cleaning equipment to the condenser

First, we first find out the direction of the water inlet of the condenser, connect it to the location of the water inlet or outlet of the water pump, and then heat the pipe.

3. Carry out cleaning work

After confirming the above pipe connection, we first add clean water and run it for 20 minutes. After draining the sewage, we add clean water again and run it for cleaning. Just repeat it multiple times. Then we use drugs for cleaning. When using drugs for cleaning, we must know the dosage. The ph value must be between 4-5 and maintained for 2-3 hours. After cleaning, discharge the drugs, and then clean the remaining drugs. , wash it repeatedly with clean water until its pH value is 6.5-7.5. (Note: The higher the water temperature during cleaning, the shorter the cleaning time. The most suitable temperature is around 85 degrees)
